330 GT and 250 GT V12 engines have beautifully cast silumin alloy engine blocks and cylinder heads. All aspects of these engines have wonderful design flair built into their precision engineering. Externally they have a refined purposeful design, internally they are engineering art.
Beneath the block is the ribbed dry sump pan cast out of alloy. The dry sump system allows for improved lubrication under racing conditions and allows the engine to be mounted lower in the chassis therefore lowering the centre of gravity and aided the sleek design of the front of the GTO.
Having built several 250 and 330 engines we are proud of our knowlege of these historically important power plants.
